i got another hamster tonight! she's a russian dwarf breed. i'm gonna call her luna. i tried to take a picture but since she's sleeping she just looks like a little black blob. i'll post a picture as soon as i get one. i bought her a cage and when i got home it was broken. :( so i'm gonna leave her in the little carrier for now (it's got food and i'm gonna put the water thing in it) until i can get another cage tomorrow. i'm sure they'll do an exchange. the lady told me this breed was pretty aggressive but so far she has been the sweetest thing. mr whiskers,my other hamster,is recovering well still. he's still as mean and hyper as ever. having 3 legs isnt bothering him at all.

i have a ton of cds to burn tonight. brandy asked me to copy a couple bright eyes ones for her and i'm also gonna copy some more i know she'd like. see-i can be a good sister. plus i have to copy some for a laundro trade with leslie and sara and a mix for heather and laura and jenny.

i made several decos this morning for vaughan via CFD and deco-d a few established ones as i owe 20 of them via laundro swaps.

plus i managed to get the whole weekend off from work. woo. i must ACCOMPLISH something these days. i've been so lazy this week.

oh I bet luna is a cutie!! My dwarf is a Campbells breed but like you said they warned me they are more nippy but Tippy is the sweetest thing! She loves to be held and will actually come to my voice etc! I love her so much! She has bit me a few times but mostly its when I forget to wash my hands after petting the cats - she hates them.

luna is so sweet still! when i put my hand in her cage,she jumps right in. :)

I used to breed russian dwarfs and I had one who was just EVIL. She would charge the side of the cage and try to attack you whenever you walked by. She would bite onto pens and you could lift her up by her jaws. She was the MEANEST animal I've ever known. But she bred the sweetest babies I've every bred.

She was the exception. I've found they can be rather territorial, but once out of the cage they're usually nice. I used to keep a paper cup by the cages to scoop them up with. ;)

I miss having little creatures. I had a hamster and he was a JERK. He bit me once so hard that I should have had stitches in my thumb. I was due for a wedding that day so I couldn't get anything done about it.

I had a mouse a few years ago, tho. He was the sweetest little thing. He only bit me once and it wasn't that hard. I had to hold his tail a wee bit so he wouldn't run off and he got mad at me. I miss that little guy. My cat wasn't even bothered by him. Unfortunately my youngest cat, KeyKey, would probably kill or seriously maim any little creatures should I get one. meh.

I don't miss doing CD trades. It used to get so bad that I would have to do like 30 CDs at one time. gah!

my dog LOVES the hamsters. she licks them when given the chance. :)

luna is so CALM! compared to my other hamster. i can sit her down on my desk and she doesnt try to jump off. she just snoops around.

i'm STILL not caught up on my cd trades. i have around 10-ish left and i'm gonna avoid large trades for a while. :) did you get my package yet? i'm sorry i was kinda slow with sending out my end. and i promise a letter is coming soon!

That's really good. I'd love to get another mouse but all of the female mice seem to be more lively than my male mouse that I used to have. I've seen some really cute Black Bear hamsters (I think that's what they're called) and some Siberian long hair hamsters. Just really cute little things. I don't know if I want another one of those 'cos mine was such a meanie. heh. It's probably best that I don't get another little creature. My youngest cat knocked over our fish's water bowl about four or five times. He ruined my sister's artwork. It was not good.. X_x

Ouch. That's bad. Definitely avoid the larger transactions. It helps out if you've only got a few smaller ones. I'm out on the CD-RW drive in my computer. I've had it for about three-four years, I guess. Too much burning I suppose. heh. Yup, I got your package today. I'm checking LJ before I head over for my twenty minute sweep of Laundro. heh. I don't seem to post anymore. No worries about the delay. I know you deal in a huge volume of mail. hehe. I shall be looking forward to your letter! :D
